Who we are

Blunt Markets ("we", "us") provides short multi-asset market briefs at this website. This policy explains what data we process and why.

What we collect

• Desk preferences (followed symbols, themes, quiet mode, last visit) stored in your browser via localStorage. This stays on your device unless you clear site data.
• Technical logs that our hosting providers may collect (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to operate and secure the service.
• Advertising data when Google AdSense or related Google services run ads or consent tools (see Cookies and advertising below).

We do not require an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, and - where allowed - personalize ads based on your interests and prior visits to this or other sites.

For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we use a Google-certified consent management platform (Google Privacy & messaging / Funding Choices) so you can accept or reject advertising cookies and related purposes before personalized ads are served, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy and the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF).

Legal bases (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: consent for non-essential cookies and personalized advertising; legitimate interests for operating a secure website, preventing abuse, and showing non-personalized or limited ads where permitted; and storage of desk preferences as a functional feature you control in the browser.

Sharing of data

We use processors such as hosting (e.g. Vercel), database (e.g. Supabase), optional AI rewrite providers, and market-data APIs. Advertising is delivered by Google and its ad partners. We do not sell your personal information as a standalone product.

Retention

Browser preferences last until you clear them. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. Ad-related retention is governed by Google's policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent for cookies/ads. Use the consent banner controls where available, Google Ad Settings, or contact us using the details below.
